An Excel calendar template is the most popular and easy way of creating a calendar. A template forms the basic structure which is the fundamental step in creating a daily, monthly or yearly calendar. It has grids and cells which can be used to put in the dates, days, appointments, highlight important dates, events, functions, birthdays and so on. To create a calendar in Excel, you can follow the following steps:

Go to Microsoft Excel and click on Tools. Select Macro and then Visual Basic Editor for earlier versions. If your Excel is of 2007 and above versions, then click on Developer and then Visual Basic. The Developer tab will also show if you click Office and then Excel Options. Select Insert in the Visual Basic Editor and Module to start a new code module. By copy pasting the code, you can create a calendar template using Excel. Select the CalendarMaker module and run the program and you will have your template ready.
